Family Stay Near NRG, TMC and Downtown

The home itself is very nice aesthetically, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing due to a lack of preparation and inaccurate listing details. When we arrived, the house smelled strongly of marijuana and was missing basic essentials such as towels, dishes, silverware, and adequate seating for six people. The listing also stated the property was close to NRG Center and the Medical District, but it took us over an hour to get there, which was misleading and a major inconvenience since my husband was in Houston for treatment at MD Anderson. Future guests may want to confirm that the home is fully stocked and that the location meets their needs before booking.

The house had no blinds and you could see into the rooms from the houses across the back yard. The couch was also terribly stained and had a weird smell. The beds were very uncomfortable as well, when I first arrived the front door was unlocked and the electronic keypad didn’t work so I had to take it apart and replace the batteries myself.

The property is brand new which is good. But you have to be aware the followings before choosing this home: 1. lack of furnitures in bedrooms, you have to put most stuff on floor;2. No curtains in the entire home, this is the most terrible point as there is no privacy at all;3. Cars in neighbourhood are noisy, if you rest in the room that close to the street, it feels like vehicles are driving over your face4. The quality of interior finish is very basic i.e. one bedroom door and the sharing bathroom door cannot be properly closed; especially the bathroom door always slide back to open and I have to go to downstairs as otherwise, I am taking the loo directly in front of my roommate

The house was spacious and very clean. Check in was quick and easy , the property manager was friendly and looked out for me . I would buy or rent this house , I highly recommend staying here for a getaway. I’ll be back for sure.
